june vivès is a paris-based choreographer, performer and movement director whose work unfolds between stage, film and immersive experiences. trained in ballet before moving into contemporary dance, she developed her practice through a constant dialogue between storytelling through movement, groove, minimalism, negative space and flow.

work

movement has always been june’s first language.

over the years, she has collaborated with dance companies, filmmakers, brands and artists across stage, screen and immersive experiences.

each project became a space to explore physicality, presence and the subtle dialogue between storytelling, body and image.

this page gathers some of these collaborations.

creation

creation often begins with a question.

through storytelling and movement, june creates worlds shaped by human experience, memory and imagination.

her work explores groove, minimalism and the expressive potential of negative space — what happens in between. using the invisible threads connecting bodies.

across stages works, immersive experiences, choreography becomes a space for transformation, presence and share narratives.

this page gathers a selection of creations and ongoing projects.

workshops

teaching and sharing became an extension of the creative process.

through workshops, residencies and intensive programs, june aims to create spaces where transmission, exploration and creation meet.

rather than focusing solely on movement itself, her approach invites dancers to engage with storytelling, physicality and human experience — exploring how meaning can emerge through sensation, imagination, rhythm, surrender, groove and space in between.

rooted in improvisation, composition and the expressive potential of negative space, these encounters become opportunities to question, discover and create together.

alongside her international teaching practice, june also developed creation intensive, an ongoing project taking place several times each season. each edition offers a different creation framework, inviting dancers to immerse themselves in a collective process where experimentation, research, collaboration and imagination become the starting point of a new work.
